The Blissful Postpartum Introspection Course is an in-depth exploration of the postpartum period through a variety of practices with the aim of supporting you in the transition into motherhood with graceful awareness. The scope of this introspective series is to provide guidance, nourishment, and insights for a role that nobody really prepares us for. This course is composed of 13 audio classes of the length of 10-15 minutes range which melts together different practices from meditation, to journaling, to breath works, and the use of the Emotional Freedom Technique aiming to prepare you for the next level of awareness in the full-on transition that is entering into matressence. A common pattern today is to bring so much attention into preparing for the birth that little to no thinking goes into the fourth trimester. Navigating the loss of identity, and processing the huge life shifts and emotional turbulence, despite the physical challenges of postpartum can be difficult, but it doesn’t have to be like this. DAY 1- LEARN TO REST: ULTRADIAN RHYTHMS
In this session, I invite you to take some time to explore the relationship you have with rest, by learning about ultradian rhythms and the way you can utilize those pauses within your day-to-day life, to bring more awareness and flow to your day, to honor your body and mind capacity in a particular period of your life where it is desirable to pause and re-calibrate your energies for optimal vitality.
DAY 2- 5 MINUTES ENERGY RESET
The reality is that as a mother it’s vital to be able to quickly shift our state by resetting, recalibrating, and regaining the presence and state of mind, no matter what life throws at us.
In this session, I offer a simple and effective technique to quickly reset your energy and shift your mood to show up at your best for your little one.
DAY 3 CHAKRA BATH CHANTING
In this session, we are going to explore a beautiful exercise to release tension in the throat and jaw, areas extremely interconnected with our womb. You will find out that each chakra has a corresponding Bija mantra, a seed sound that contains and expresses the energy of his location. Through the humming sound, you will connect to a practice that calms and brings the nervous system to balance.
DAY 4- CONSCIOUS PARENTING EXERCISE
Being an awesome parent starts with us. In this session, we utilize the journal to actively work with a powerful conscious parenting exercise that I hope will spark some insight into how you want to show up for your child’s education, and the way you would like to bring forward your lineage or interrupt vicious patterns.
DAY 5- MAKE A LOVE LIST
As a mother, it’s easy to get into the nurturing role and forget how to practice You.
In this session, you will take some time to brainstorm what brings you joy and how you can utilize your time efficiently without spiraling into a number of mind-numbing activities that lead you only to increase disconnection and unsatisfaction in the long term
DAY 6- ADDRESSING EXHAUSTION AND DEPLETION
In this session, we explore the topic of depletion and exhaustion and ways you can coexist and dance with that instead of seeing it as just a burden. As mums, we don’t get to take a day off, and this visualization aims to bring you back to balance and focus on what’s really important on days in which your baby is unwell and it’s in constant need of your attention, leaving you drained and exhausted.
DAY 7- LEANING TO THE FEMININE
The modern world overvalues the masculine qualities of rationality, productivity, and independence and it’s easy to fall into the demands that the external world expects from us. In this session, I invite you to reflect and journal on ways you can honor the motherhood season by embracing your feminine ground.
DAY 8- TAME YOUR INNER VOICES
In this session will go on a journey to sync with our inner critic and learn to tame that voice inside of ourselves and to set ourselves up to enjoy the slow postpartum time and be present with the sensations, feelings, and the one of your baby.
DAY 9- MEDITATION WITH YOUR BABY
Today we refrain from skipping on an opportunity to restore our nervous system and find resilience with a little meditation practice: a beautiful way to include your baby in your routine.
DAY 10- WRITE A LETTER TO YOUR MOTHER
Your relationship with your mother is a fundamental piece of your psychological and physical health and is especially awakened when you become a mother. The inner work in this session is to unpack the baggage you carry from your lineage and repair the behaviours that impede you from walking your own path as a mother.
DAY 11- POSTPARTUM TAPPING
Between being fed with advice from the external world and your own doubts it’s mandatory for your mental health to get an extra boost of self-worth and strength and recognize what an amazing job you are already doing as a mum. This is the perfect tapping meditation to let go of self-judgment and come back to your child patient and from a place of serene calmness.
DAY 12- BIRTH LOSS AND MISCARRIAGES
Today’s session is on the topic of birth loss and miscarriages because 100% they should be taking a space in the postpartum realm and we should be treating and honoring this time with the same importance and reverence on a physical, emotional, and spiritual level.
DAY 13- FLEXING THE MUSCLE OF ASKING FOR HELP
This is a practice of exercising your muscles by asking for support and being okay with receiving it, meaning that you are invited to find ease in inviting your community and inner circles to support you and nurture your postpartum self.
