Interview with Nina Sadvlosky

Interview with Nina Sadvlosky

Could you give us an introduction of who you are, what you do in this world, and how you got where you are sharing this work with women?

Hi, I’m Nina. I am a Body Mind Soul Expert focusing on body consciousness, mental consciousness, and growth (light and shadow work), and connecting the body and the mind for maximal growth on all levels. I also integrate essential oils into my work for deeper, long-lasting results.

I studied business administration and had a successful marketing career of about 10 years until I noticed more mental and physical tension, my body sent me more and more signals to slow down and to reconsider my soul path. When I finally managed to quit my job and travelled through Latin America, I had this whole world opening up within me. I was so stuck in my head and hence my body & mind were rigid that I really had to break out and dive deeper into my body and heart. This is what I am sharing today with the women of this beautiful world.

What is your gift to the world?

My gift to the world is that my own experiences made me the fully embodied, shining soul that I am today. My body is my wisdom, which guides me through life. Connecting with our body, being grounded in our body, and confidently & securely expressing this is my strength plus guiding others into that authentic self-expression through body movement, mindset work, and shine from within, with all our facets.

Tell us more about your offering. How do you support women in your coaching?

I support my soul clients through coaching sessions, movements like dancing, yoga & shaking it off, as well as with energy work such as tapping and essential oils. I work very intuitively and add visualization, meditation, and other techniques to my sessions. My work can be experienced in a group or individual setup. I work online and offline, based in Ibiza. I also hold masterclasses on specific topics that I consider important for maximal growth.

Who are the women you work with?

The women I work with are most often stuck in their heads and only trust what they can rationally grasp. They ’forgot’ their beautiful body wisdom, they are disconnected from themselves, their intuition as well as what they truly want from life. They often lack clarity for their life path and also trust in their own unique being and path of moving forward, mostly because they are disconnected and too scared to stand up for themselves and their desires and dreams.

What do you see more often as a struggle in women nowadays?

A lot of women are disconnected from their own needs/desires and have a tendency to people please. Knowing their boundaries, setting and communicating them is also a problem. A lot of women function, run at full capacity and are stuck in their overly masculine traits, whilst their strengths are ALSO body wisdom, intuition, and feminine flow.

Why do you think women in today’s world are struggling so much with

overwhelm/ burnout/do-it-all syndrome?

Because we are still stuck in the societal roles, stigmas, and pressures, meaning we seem to be able to manage and have it all, whilst still looking good and being relaxed. Also, there’s pressure of the self to be successful, have a career, be a good wife/friend/sister/colleague, look good PLUS make it look easy. Most women have learned too much of what they are NOT, and do not live enough of the facets they truly are.

Are there particular strategies you use in a coaching session with you?

I use a framework of coaching techniques enriched with my intuition and experience as a coach, yoga teacher, and wellness ambassador. My coaching is built on questioning techniques, reflection, reframing, mindset work (limiting beliefs), and body & mind consciousness practice with elements from yoga, meditation, visualization, shaking, tapping (EFT), body scans, essential oils etc. I hold two coaching certificates, for NLP (neurolinguistic programming) and Systemic Coaching.

What is a way for women to reconnect more with their feminine side? be more

connected with their body, overcome to get burnout, anxiety, depression (or whatever is that you see them struggle with)? In order to reconnect with yourself, connecting with the body is absolutely essential. This means doing gentle practices to FEEL the body, it means guiding yourself into stillness, for example through (guided) meditation, it means exploring and finding your tools and techniques that make you feel relaxed, grounded, and energetically joyful at the same time. This can be yoga, dancing, walking, and maybe a GENTLE run. It is important to be GENTLE in the process of re-connecting, as otherwise, it can easily tilt into exercise to distract, compensate and escape.

Another beautiful offering of yours is yoga and also working with essential oils to restore emotional and physical balance, could you share more about how you use essential oils in yoga practice or in daily life?

Let’s practice together!

1) Take one drop of your preferred essential oil into the palms of your hands, rub it gently, close your eyes, and hands in front of your nose, and inhale deeply through your nose, exhale with an open mouth. You can do this any time of the day.

2) Connect with a body part. Take an essential oil of your choice and rub it gently (ideally diluted with coconut oil) into a body part that needs extra attention (because it hurts, is stiff, restless, etc). Use your hands to gently touch yourself there, gently keep rubbing the oil in and hence give yourself a hug, cuddle, and love.

3) (Guided) Meditation / Savasana: before you meditate, take an oil of your choice, simply intuitively, and inhale it before you close your eyes and meditate. The meditation can be short or long, subject to your needs. In Savasana you can hold the oil gently over your client’s nose and then rub the rest into their neck, palms of the hands, or feet. Generally, I use essential oils to help my clients open, widen and energize their bodies and at the same time relax and surrender. The smell of the oil has an effect on us and we do not need to understand it. We can simply enjoy it.

What are we going to cover in the webinar?

We will dive deeper into the webinar; we will unleash the connection between the body and the mind, I will help you understand how body and mind are connected and how you can use your body to be guided through life, feeling your body, strengthening your intuition and all this whilst being true and authentic to yourself. Why you might struggle with standing still, doing nothing and resting and how you can take simple steps to ground yourself and strengthen your root chakra.

We will also practice certain techniques, to energize and relax and I will guide you through a meditation/body scan to connect with your heart.

Is there anything else you’d like to add or mention that we haven’t covered?

I just wanna say, life has been gifted to you in order to make your life worthwhile, to be healthy and joyful, and to really enjoy life to the fullest. This means you are allowed to go for what you desire. You have to give yourself that permission and trust that everything will work out just fine and better. How can you let go of the facets that are not authentically you and how can you live more of who you truly are?
